General Description: red hair, fierce green eyes, compact build, strong shoulders. Scars on his chest and arms from fighting. He is aware of his body, the people in any given room, and where his weapons are at all times.
Distinguishing Marks: red hair, green eyes, a scar on his shoulder, scars on his torso and arms
Personality: Flint is very gruff, but he's very humorous too. Because he's
the captain of a ship, he has to be in control all of the time and comes across as bossy and over bearing. He's fiercely intelligent, mostly self taught, and has a quick, problem-solving mind. He can be devious, but he has a deep need to be seen as a hero even when he's being nefarious. He's deeply in mourning for his lost love, Thomas, and he's angry about having had him taken from him.
Alignment: Flint has a rigid code of conduct he follows. He's committed to vengeance and his own ideals. He's loyal to his lovers, but will betray anyone who stands between him and his goals.
Sexuality and Gender Identity: Flint is a cis man who is bisexual
Romantic Inclinations: Flint is cautious about forming romantic connections, because he's fiercely loyal. When he falls in love, it's deep and lasting.
Upbringing: Flint grew up in Padstow, England, in the late 1600s. He was brought up by his grandfather, who was a fisherman. His family couldn't afford a proper education for him, and he joined the Navy when he was 10 or 12. He finished growing up in the Navy, achieving the rank of Lieutenant and earning a place as an Admiral's aid. In 1705 he was assigned to be the Naval Liason to Lord Thomas Hamilton, who was trying to solve the New Providence problem, i.e., bring the pirate republic back under English rule. Due to the events that transpired, his realtionship to Thomas and Miranda Hamilton, he was banished from London with Miranda. THey ended up in Nassau and Flint set out to becomea pirate and avenge Thomas
